Nairobi offers a diverse range of excursions and day trips, from wildlife encounters to cultural experiences and outdoor adventures. Popular options include exploring Nairobi National Park, visiting the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Centre, and delving into the city’s history at the National Museum and Karen Blixen Museum.

David Sheldrick Trust Elephant Orphanage

We’ll take you visiting with dozens of loveable baby elephants feeding, playing, and just being adorable at the David Sheldrick Trust Elephant Orphanage. Picture the hungry babies running up to their handlers for their morning meal, drinking from giant baby bottles! They lap up their breakfast and run off to play, like any toddler would, rolling about in mud puddles and even knocking a soccer ball about.

The orphanage is also a refuge for young rhinos – all these babies are rescued and now carefully raised and nurtured until they are ready to go back to the wilds. You can even “adopt” a baby during your visit.

Giraffe Centre

Ascend the viewing platform to meet a curious Rothschild’s giraffe face-to-face. Offer some food pellets, and watch a long, green tongue eagerly scoop them up—you might even receive a gentle giraffe kiss as a thank-you!Many of our day tours feature a stop at the Giraffe Sanctuary, a haven for this endangered giraffe subspecies.
This scenic location offers nature trails, abundant tall giraffes, and the joyful sounds of Kenyan schoolchildren delighting in their visit alongside these majestic animals.

Nairobi National Park

The park is only 30 minutes( 10KM)  south of Nairobi, but sightings of lions and hyenas are common. Seeing primal nature so close is an almost surreal experience – your friends won’t believe your photos!

And there’s lots more to experience in this unique spot – rhinos, hippos, ostrich, and hundreds of species of colorful birds.
